Approximately 500 researchers and medical professionals will gather Oct. 20-23 in Sacramento to discuss the latest research and clinical findings related to obesity and food intake. The conference is the joint annual meeting of the National American Association for the Study of Obesity and the Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior. During the three-day conference, participants from throughout the United States, Canada and Europe will present information related to the causes and treatment of obesity. Topics will range from genetic models of obesity to gender and ethnic differences in obesity.
