The UC Davis Transfer Admission Guarantee, known as TAG, is a written agreement that ensures your admission to UC Davis from any California Community College. Check the UC Davis TAG requirements to see if you’re eligible and what you need to start a TAG application.
How to apply for TAG
Important dates and deadlines
Aug. 1
Start your UC undergraduate application on Aug. 1 for admission the following year.
Sept. 1-30
Submit your TAG application via the UC TAP.
Oct. 1-Nov. 30
Review your TAG decision mid-November. Submit your UC undergraduate application for admission and scholarships Oct. 1 to Nov. 30.
Oct. 1-March 2
Apply for financial aid at studentaid.gov or dream.csac.ca.gov.
