CCTV, the UC Davis Medical Center's video production unit, recently won a "Freddie" at the 1994 International Health and Medical Film Festival in San Francisco. Headed by administrative coordinator George Shearer, CCTV won for its entry "Fulfilling the Mission," judged to be the best film in the category of Health Care Administration. The festival attracted 700 documentaries, short features and videos from 20 countries.
