Where we are
Our main campus borders the Northern California city of Davis. We’re also located in Sacramento, the state capital, where UC Davis Health is headquartered.
The Davis campus is located along Interstate 80 next to the city of Davis, a vibrant college town of about 68,000 people living in Yolo County. You are invited to visit our beautiful campus. The state capital is 20 minutes away, and world-class destinations such as the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe and the Napa Valley are within a two-hour drive.
As the region's only academic health center, UC Davis Health is located off U.S. 50 near the I-80 interchange in California’s capital city of Sacramento. The health system encompasses the UC Davis Medical Center, UC Davis School of Medicine, Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing and UC Davis Medical Group.
Close to the airport
The nearest airport for both campuses is the Sacramento International Airport, about a 20-minute trip for each, and you can use public transportation to get to and from both places.
Once on campus, buses and shuttles can get you to where you want to go. The health system operates the on-site Med-Transit Shuttle Services and the Davis campus is served by Unitrans with terminals near the Memorial Union and the Silo.
Parking at UC Davis
Visitors arriving by car should use either a UC Davis parking permit or metered parking on both campuses. Visitor parking permits cost $10 a day on the Davis campus and $2 per hour with a maximum of $12 at the Sacramento campus.
