No Mysteries at Mondavi

A South African theatre troupe has canceled its March 6 and 7 shows at Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, the center announced last week. Dimpho di Kopane had been scheduled to present The Mysteries, described as biblical stories told in a street theatre format popular in medieval times throughout Europe. The Mondavi Center reported that "the company has encountered a series of problems that have forced the cancellation of its planned North American tour." All ticket holders will receive automatic refunds within two weeks, a center official said Aug. 2. Questions about the refund process should be directed to the ticket office: (530) 754-2787 or (866) 754-ARTS.
