The University of California, Davis, Office of Strategic Communications and UC Davis Health Public Affairs and Marketing received 24 awards in a national competition for educational advertising and digital marketing, as announced last week by Educational Advertising Awards. The awards recognize outstanding publications, events, campaigns and shows that highlight the university’s mission.
UC Davis was awarded Best in Show for the third season of its podcast Unfold. In addition, it won six gold, seven silvers, four bronze and six merit awards.
“I’m incredibly proud to work with the creative and innovative teams on the Davis and Sacramento campuses,” said Dana Topousis, UC Davis’ chief marketing and communications officer. “In another challenging year for communications and marketing, they put forward their very best, and it shows in this recognition from our peers across the nation.”
The Educational Advertising Awards program is the largest, oldest and most respected educational awards competition in the country.
