Native American Culture Days, Powwow

Powwow events begin at D-Q University at 6 p.m. Friday, April 7, and continue in the Recreation Hall at UC Davis from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 8, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 9. Highlights of the week include a presentation by Maggie Steele, an expert in gang education/intervention and conflict resolution at 7 p.m. Monday, April 3, in the East Conference Room of the Memorial Union; a performance by the Red Hawk Drum Group from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, on the West Quad; and a story and poetry reading at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in the Gorman, News Service, (530) 752-8248, jaeasley@ucdavis.edu.
