Jiro Kaneko, professor emeritus of clinical pathology in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis, was recognized for his outstanding contributions in animal clinical chemistry by the American Association of Clinical Chemistry at its annual meeting recently in New York. Kaneko, who specializes in veterinary clinical pathology and animal clinical chemistry, was the first to receive the award, which is sponsored by the Diagnostics Division of Miles Inc.
