The Mathematical Association of America recently awarded University of California, Davis, mathematics professor Gulbank Chakerian the Carl B. Allendoerfer Award for a paper he co-wrote with David Logothetti, a member of the faculty at Santa Clara University from 1967 until his death in 1991.
