-- Greg Mazeres, acting director of resident dining for Sodexho Marriott Services at UC Davis until just recently, was named one of his company's Heroes of Everyday Life this spring. Mazeres was recognized for his efforts to better the lives of the hungry in Yolo County through food rescue and the Yolo County Food Bank. He was also recognized for educating UC Davis students about world hunger. Mazeres was recently recognized at the Sodexho Marriott Services Foundation's annual dinner in Washington, D.C., and a $3,000 check was given to the Yolo County Food Bank.
