UC Davis is playing many roles in the effort to find a vaccine for COVID-19, and the world got good news this week about the vaccination trial in which UC Davis Health is participating.
That vaccine, created by Pfizer and BioNTech and given to around 200 participants by UC Davis Health, was said to be more than 90 percent effective in early results.
Pfizer said it would ask the FDA for emergency-use authorization for the vaccine in late November.
