Jennie Chin Hansen, a nationally recognized leader in community-based, long-term health care and executive director of the elder care agency On Lok Inc., will talk about long-term care of the elderly Monday, April 18, at UC Davis. Hansen will focus on the relationship between her San Francisco agency's nonprofit community health plan and the Clinton administration's proposed managed-care plan. On Lok provides health care, home care and social services to elderly people who are eligible for lifetime nursing-home care but who prefer instead to remain in the community. Hansen's talk will begin at 2 p.m. in the Mee Room of the Memorial Union.
