Chemist Given Teacher-Scholar Award

Susan Tucker, UC Davis assistant professor of chemistry, has been awarded a Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award for 1996. The award includes a payment of $60,000, to be used for undergraduate educational purposes. Tucker was one of 17 individuals selected in a national competition to receive this honor. The award assists outstanding scientists in the chemical sciences to continue their high level of accomplishment in education and research.
