Art Students Compete With Variety of Work at MU Gallery

Exhibition Title: UC Davis Juried Student Art Show Dates: March 5-30 Where: Memorial Union Art Gallery Second floor Memorial Union University of California, Davis Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday Opening Reception: 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 5, Memorial Union Art Gallery The Memorial Union Art Gallery will present the UC Davis Juried Student Art Show for most of the month of March. Open to all graduate and undergraduate students, the competition includes painting, collage, ceramic sculpture, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, textiles, photography, furniture, crafts and VHS video. There is no entry fee; entries are limited to three per student. Prizes will be awarded in the form of purchase awards, and winning entries will become part of the MU Gallery's permanent collection. The juror for the show is Deborah Lefkowitz, a Southern California artist and award-winning documentary filmmaker. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.
