NEW - EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS OPTION FOR GUESTS
The Golden 1 Center has emergency procedures for the safety of those at our commencements. UC Davis invites guests to temporarily subscribe to receive UC Davis’ WarnMe emergency alerts so that, in the event of an emergency, we can provide follow-up communications.
- Before your ceremony, text GRADALERTS to 888777. If necessary, this will allow us to send text messages to your cell phone and direct you to more information as it becomes available.
- After you have left the facility and there would no longer be a need for UC Davis emergency alerts, please text STOP to 888777.
- Signing up shortly before your ceremony and unsubscribing soon after you have left the area will keep you from potentially getting alerts for any of our four other ceremonies at the Golden 1 Center this weekend.
- This process is offered specially for guests. Graduating students and UC Davis employees who registered for a commencement are already in our WarnMe alert system; however, they can choose to subscribe to GRADALERTS as an additional means of receiving notifications.
