“Ace Virtual Interviews” is the June 3 topic in the "future-proofing"-your-career webinar series.

As the work world goes virtual, UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education is offering free, weekly webinars in a series titled “Future-Proof: How to Manage Your Career in Times of Change.”

The trainings offer tools and skills aimed at helping people find employment and advance their careers in the new environment, and are led by Andrea Weiss, a certified career counselor who also teaches employee development workshops and provides counseling for UC Davis departments and staff.

The series debuted May 13, with “Career Resilience in Turbulent Times,” and you can watch a recording here.

The rest of the segments will be presented from 11 a.m. to noon on successive Wednesdays through June 10. Each segment will build on the previous sessions.

The series webpage includes information on each segment, plus registration links. This page will be updated after each presentation, to include the recordings.

Here is the remaining schedule:

  • “Career Networking Demystified” — May 20
  • “Maximizing LinkedIn for Job Search” — May 27
  • “Ace Virtual Interviews” — June 3
  • “Accomplishment Statements as Success Stories” — June 10

Each webinar includes a question-and-answer session, allowing viewers to solicit advice on how to present themselves to potential employers.
