The campus is scheduled to test its WarnMe emergency notification system on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at noon.
In this first of three tests for the calendar year, the campus will send alerts by text message and email to faculty, staff and students, and others who registered on their own. The message will also be posted to UC Davis' official Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Students and employees are automatically registered to receive alerts through their campus email. You can add other contacts including personal email addresses and mobile numbers. Verify and update your contact information on the WarnMe website. Select the link: “Edit my WarnMe information now!”
Parents, vendors, contractors and others can sign up to receive text notifications only for the Davis campus by texting UCDALERTS to 67283.
The Sacramento campus will also conduct a simultaneous but separate test.
