It is with deep sadness that we share that Hissah Almousa died after she was seriously injured in an apartment fire at Solano Park apartment complex on May 8. Hissah was married to UC Davis graduate student Mohamed Alkaoud. We offer our heartfelt condolences to Mohamed and his extended family and friends. We grieve with you.

We ask that the community respect Mohamed’s privacy during this difficult time.
