National Coming Out Day Oct. 11 Brings Call to Add Data to UCPath

In connection with National Coming Out Day this Sunday (Oct. 11), the Chancellor’s Committee on LGBTQIA+ Communities, the UC Davis Health Vice Chancellor’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Council and the UC Davis Health Pride Employee Resource Group are encouraging employees to indicate their gender identity and sexual orientation in their personal information in UCPath.

Providing this information is voluntary. However, with this demographic data the university can ensure it is implementing appropriate diversity and inclusion programs as UC strives to create an inclusive environment for all. The data is compiled on a confidential basis (aggregate numbers with no names).

To respond to the questions: Log in to UCPath, click on “Employee Actions,” then “Personal Information,” then “Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Self Identification Survey.”
