Medical Center Employee Charged with Burglary

An employee of the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento was charged Friday with burglary and several counts of possession of stolen property. John B. Mora, a principal custodial supervisor, was arrested as he left the center's Sherman Way Building, which campus police were watching. Detective Sgt. Joyce Souza of the UC Davis Police Department says campus police later searched Mora's residence and recovered about $15,000 in stolen property including computers, medical equipment and hand and power tools. A firearm was also taken from the residence.
