All Clear: No Threat Found After Mrak Hall Evacuated Tuesday Afternoon

Update 5:20 p.m.: Police have issued an all-clear for Mrak Hall and surrounding buildings. All buildings are now open as usual.

The all clear came after the Yolo County Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious object in Mrak Hall and determined that the object was not a threat. 

3:40 p.m.: Mrak Hall has been evacuated after police received a report of a suspicious device in the building. No credible threat has been determined.

Authorities ordered the evacuation of the campus’s main administration building as a precaution at about 3:40 p.m.

A UC Davis WarnMe message advised personnel in neighboring buildings to shelter in place.
