THE DOWNLOAD: Photos and Videos Abroad, Harry Potter in the DC

Veterinary students who did externships abroad this summer came back with more than just new experiences and education. Each student who received an award from the International Summer Externship Travel Fund produced a video detailing the experience. The videos have been posted on the School of Veterinary Medicine website, and an example from Australia can be seen above.

Study Abroad photo contest voting open

Cook village, we were completely snowed in," photographer Jason Lin writes of the experience. "It wasn't the worst; with four of us being Californians, the snow was super fun to play with. ... This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to."

If you haven't gotten your fill of voting this week, you can help decide the winner of Study Abroad's annual photo contest. The photos taken by 2015-16 participants have been whittled down to seven finalists, with the top photo earning an iPad for its creator. Voting ends Nov. 16 on the Study Abroad website.
