THE DOWNLOAD: No Drivers, No Losses, No Fences

Many people may not trust automated cars, but people didn't trust automated elevators at first, either.

Driverless cars could have a massive impact on how we live our lives and the impact we have on the environment. Watch the above video or read the full article for more information on the research UC Davis is doing and how it fits into industrywide movements.

The construction fencing has come down around much of the Arboretum Waterway, and staff are already preparing for the second phase of construction.

The arboretum explains what's next: "The Phase 2 project area starts at Wyatt Deck and ends just west of Mrak Hall Drive. This phase, which we plan to start this summer, will involve removing sediment and crumbling concrete on the edge of the banks, as well as building two weirs and installing a pump to recirculate water similar to the work we are currently completing in the Phase One project area."
