UC Davis engineering student Lorenzo Rocha mentored the Woodland High School team for this year's FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition, held last weekend in the Pavilion at the UC Davis Activities and Recreation Center. High schoolers designed and built robots, then put them in an arena to play three-dimensional tic-tac-toe with red and blue inner tubes.
