There is more than wind whistling through the trees at the UC Davis Arboretum these days. The new addition is folk music during noon-hour jam sessions. The first event took place Sept. 22, and two more are scheduled. Pictured at the first event are, from left, George Hinkle from the Davis Senior Center; Elaine Fingerett, youth and family outreach coordinator for the arboretum; and Jim Coats, editor and Webmaster for the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Another jam session is planned today and one more on Oct. 20, both on the Wyatt Deck across from Wyatt Pavilion along Old Davis Road.
