Finals and other end-of-the-quarter assignments kept students busy last week, so, no wonder around 2,000 of them turned out for the Moonlight Breakfast last Tuesday (Dec. 6) for nourishment and a break from their studies, hosted by the administration. The ASUCD Coffee House provided the venue, Dining Services did the cooking and Chancellor Gary S. May and other leaders served up the pancakes, breakfast burritos, fruit, coffee and more.

Thank you to everyone that made this year's Moonlight Breakfast a success! We were excited to see so many happy faces enjoying the late-night snacks. @Chancellor_May began this tradition as an opportunity for campus leadership to serve breakfast to students for free. #OurUCDavis pic.twitter.com/PLVtqnZfgO

Grads get out of the rain
About 1,000 students capped their week with grad caps! Two commencements were held Saturday (Dec. 10) in the University Credit Union Center — a welcome shelter from the wind and rain. Regular fall commencement took place in the morning, followed by the last of three spring makeup ceremonies.
