It Isn’t Just for Students
Want to use the Amazon lockers? Open the ucdavis.amazon.com website and follow these steps:
- Click on “Activate Your Benefits.”
- Click on “Add to Shipping Addresses” to add Amazon@UC Davis to your address book
- Search for the item(s) you wish to purchase; most Prime-eligible items can be shipped to Amazon@UC Davis (you can still ship here even if you’re not an Amazon Prime member).
- When you check out, select Amazon@UC Davis as your shipping address.
Amazon@UC Davis and the Campus Store are in a festive mood! Both are in their new homes in the Memorial Union, and both have special events this Friday (Sept. 16): grand opening at Amazon and big sale at the Campus Store.
The Amazon store is brand-new — a secure, convenient location for Amazon order pickup (in lockers) and free returns. Drop in any time Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., for demonstrations and to learn how you can get free, same-day pickup on Amazon orders, with Amazon Prime or Amazon Prime Student membership. The celebration also will include giveaways (no purchase necessary).
Amazon@UC Davis hours: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and noon-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Campus Store, meanwhile, will have a one-day sale, featuring discounts of up to $200 on Apple computers (on top of the educational discount), 25 percent off UC Davis-branded apparel, and 20 percent off gifts, office supplies, general books, boutique items and more. The store also plans prize giveaways.
Campus Store summer hours (through this weekend): 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays, and noon-5 p.m. Saturday. Starting next week: 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays, and noon-5 p.m. Saturday.

Campus Store grand opening celebration
The completely remodeled Campus Store plans a four-day celebration, Oct. 4-7. “This will be a chance to come in and see the store in more of a social setting,” said Carol Swafford, associate director of sales for UC Davis Stores.
She provided these details for the October event:
- 20 percent off clothing, gifts and other items
- Prize wheel, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. each day
- Social media scavenger hunt (find and post photos of certain items in the store)
- Free gift wrap while supplies last
