 Road closures

There will be no access to northbound 113 from Hutchison, for drivers coming from either direction – the central campus and UC Davis West Village.

The campus advises this detour: Take La Rue Road to Old Davis Road, where just before Interstate 80, there’s a ramp to northbound 113.

These ramps are open: on-ramp to southbound 113 and off-ramps to Hutchison from 113 southbound and northbound. Bicyclists and pedestrians can still get across the Hutchison Drive overpass. For more information, see this article.

Unitrans bus on Picnic Day

On Picnic Day, Unitrans buses will operate expanded weekend service with some route changes. All regular fares apply, and all Unitrans passes are accepted. Schedules will be available online at unitrans.ucdavis.edu.

Bus detours and route changes

M Line

M Line will be detoured from 8:00am until approximately 1:00pm due to road closures in downtown. During the detour, only these bus stops will be served:

  • 5th/D
  • 5th/G
  • 5th/I
  • Cowell/Valdora Inbound
  • Cowell/Drew Inbound
  • Cowell/Research Park Inbound
O Line

O Line operates via Fifth Street all day due to road closures in downtown.

No direct service on:

  • B Street
  • Second Street
  • to Amtrak

Instead, for downtown, use these bus stops:

  • 5th/D
  • 5th/G
  • 5th/I
V Line

V Line operates to/from the Silo Terminal all day.

    Public transit

    • Unitrans operates throughout Davis and campus. 
    • Yolobus operates throughout Yolo County. 
    • Amtrak connects Davis to Sacramento, Oakland, and more. 

    Airport transit

    • SuperShuttle provides transportation between the San Francisco (SFO) and Sacramento (SMF) airports and Davis.
    • Davis Airporter Shuttle provides transportation to the Sacramento and San Francisco airports.

    Safe rides

    • Safe Rides operates during the following times:
      • 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
        On-campus, to another on-campus location
      • 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
        On-campus location pick-up, to any location in the city of Davis (Unitrans not running during this time period)
