Seeds of knowledge: Graduate studies in plant biology

UC Davis is training the next generation of plant biologists in one of the top programs in the nation of its kind. Students in the Plant Biology Graduate Group benefit from enriching learning opportunities with faculty mentors in four areas — cell and developmental biology; environmental and integrative biology; molecular biology, biochemistry, and genomics; and systematics and evolutionary biology. The Agricultural Experiment Station on campus allows multiple research opportunities in this highly interdisciplinary and flexible program.

Advancing knowledge in plant biology is yet another way that UC Davis is improving quality of life in its local community, the nation and the world.

Students interested in the graduate program in plant biology should apply now. The final deadline is Dec. 15.
