The Aggie community is invited to an outdoor showing of the program that TV travel guide Huell Howser put together.
The free event scheduled for the night of July 12 is for faculty, staff and students, and, especially, alumni.
"Come home to the Buehler for a very special night," said Charlie Roddy, assistant vice chancellor for alumni relations and constituency relations and events. "All you need to do is bring a blanket. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. We'll do all the rest!"
The Buehler is the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center, where the Howser event is set to take place on the Moss Patio.

On a 10-foot by 14-foot screen
There, on a 10-foot-by-14-foot screen, the Cal Aggie Alumni Association plans to show Howser's UC Davis program as it debuts on Sacramento's KVIE Channel 6.
The event is set to begin with a reception at 7 p.m., followed by Howser's Road Trip at 8.
People are welcome to bring blankets for lawn seating, or people can sit in chairs that will be provided, said Jennifer Thayer, alumni events officer.
She said alumni relations will provide popcorn, cookies, brownies, sodas and coffee.
A chance to celebrate UC Davis
"We wanted to sponsor an event such as this because it provides both staff and alumni a chance to come together and celebrate UC Davis in a beautiful outdoor setting reminiscent of a summer picnic," Thayer said.
People planning to attend are asked to arrange reservations by telephone or online: (530) 752-0286 or go online to the alumni reservation site. Reservations are not required, Thayer said, but they will give the alumni unit an idea of how many people to plan for.
Thayer noted that Classroom Technology Services will hook up cable television for the video feed and also provide the big screen.
