Whether your preference is pinot noir or pancakes — or both — the Cal Aggie Alumni Association has put together programs to make you feel at home at UC Davis’ annual open house.

Alums are reminded to check out the Alumni Zone on the Quad to reconnect, get their picture taken or take the weight off their feet for a respite during a busy day of parade watching, exhibits, dog shows and the Battle of the Bands.

CAAA members are special, so don’t forget to bring your membership card, since the card will be your passport to many of these events.

Friday, April 18

New wine club: CAAA launches its new Vintage Aggies Wine Club with a wine tasting event that features selections from some participating wineries. The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the AGR Room of the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center

Saturday, April 19

Pancake breakfast: CAAA will host the 25th annual Picnic Day Pancake Breakfast in Freeborn Hall from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Alumni and families — as well as the general public — are invited to enjoy breakfast while reconnecting with campus and networking with old friends. The event will feature a performance by the Cal Aggie Alumni Marching Band-uh.

Alumni Zone: Find your space from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the annual Alumni Zone, located on the west Quad. The zone hosts an alumni directory and a registry that alumni are encouraged to sign.

Also, drop by CAAA’s free photo booth, a Student Alumni Association booth, a pet area and an area reserved just for CAAA members.
